Pine needle coiling workshop
one-on-one in artist's studio.

During class, new students learn the basic techniques of pine needle basketry, and will make a small 3-nut tray. Several stitches are learned along with oval start and the pine needle knot start. The advanced student can work on whatever techniques that need help with, i.e., handles, lids, freeform, advanced stitching, wrapping and meandering coils, etc.

Studio located hwy 22, 3 miles from Pinehurst/Southern Pines Airport and 5 miles from Pinehurst Country Club (and golf courses).
